Review by hotel critic
My recent stay at Villa Roscia was a good culinary escape. The breakfast experience set the tone for the day; picture this: enjoying an array of local fruit, creamy yogurt, cereals, and freshly baked pastries on the terrace overlooking the stunning Beau Vallon beach. Each morning, I'd savor each bite while watching the waves, which is quite the treat for a literature-lover like me, who often finds inspiration in such serene settings. Dining at the on-site restaurant, I was overwhelmed by Alice's innovative dishes. The local ingredients transformed into gourmet meals left a lingering impression, and yes, I confess to nearly licking the plate! It enriched my culinary journey, akin to diving into a well-crafted novel. With hospitable hosts Nicole and Paolo, and the stunning backdrop of the pool and terrace, Villa Roscia was not just a place to stay, but a haven that appealed to both my senses and my heart. I left with fond memories and even an aloe vera plant that Paolo kindly gifted me!
